What is the duration of the programmes ? |

The
Masters Diploma programme duration is of 2 years (4 semesters
of 6 months each) of which 3 semesters are theory and one
semester is meant for the project work.
The Executive Masters Diploma is a fast track programme for
working executives and is of one-year duration. It consists
of 2 semesters of theory and the student can simultaneously
complete the project work.

Is the study material supplied by you ? |

Semester-wise
study material is supplied by us without any additional cost,
subject to the receipt of term fees as per the fee payment
schedule. |

What is the system of examinations ? When are the
examinations held ? |
| |
The
examinations are held at the end of each semester in January
and July every year. Students residing in cities where we
have examination centres have to appear for their semester
end examinations through the Centre. Those students who reside
in cities where there is no Examination Centre are permitted
to appear through the proctor system.
Under this system the student is required to nominate a proctor
preferably from the educational field or a Company Executive/
Senior Officer. On being approved by us the proctor will conduct
the examinations on our behalf. The question papers and answersheets
will be mailed to the proctor directly and he will have to
return the written answersheets directly to us. Proctor nomination
form and other details will be sent at the appropriate time.
Only students whose registration is complete and whose fees
are upto date are eligible to appear for the semester end
examinations.

Are examination fees refundable ? |
| |
Examination fees are non-refundable and non-adjustable.
If a student after registering for the examination, does
not appear for the examination for whatever reason, he/she
will have to pay the examination fees once again whenever
desirous of appearing for the examination.

What is the standard of passing ? |
| |
Minimum 50% marks
are required in each subject. A student has to pass in all
subjects in order to be eligible for the award of Masters
Diploma in Business Administration. |

What are the terms for a student who fails in any
subject of a particular semester or who does not appear for
the examinations of that semester? |
| |
Students who
fail in any subject of a particular semester or do not appear
for the examinations can appear for these subjects as supplementary
examinations along with the regular subjects of the next semester. |

Can a student residing abroad pursue the TASMAC diploma
programmes ? |
| |
This is a distance-learning programme and one
can pursue this programme from anywhere in India or abroad.
Students residing outside India will be required to pay
fees according to the US $ fee schedule. Semester end examination
will be conducted through the proctor system.

opportunities after completion of this programme? Does TASMAC
guarantee placement to the students? |

TASMAC
does not guarantee placement’s to the students. Majority
of the students undergoing the Masters Diploma programmes
are working students, some students are absorbed by companies
while doing their project work or are employed immediately
after completion of the course and others set out to start
their own business. TASMAC, however does provide assistance
to unemployed students based on merit. |

Since this course is not recognized
by AICTE, Government of India etc., what are its benefits? |

TASMAC Masters
Diploma programmes are not recognized by the Government of
India, any other State Government or by any Indian University.
However the degrees are useful to gain professional knowledge
and many private and public sector undertakings accept the
degrees for purpose of employment and promotion in service. |

an MBA Degree. A nominal Degree fee of US $ 125 payable to
Adam Smith University, USA + Rs.2000/- [US $ 100 for students
residing outside India] as processing charges to TASMAC will
be payable. |
