INTRODUCTION

Universities worldwide have discovered the huge potential for global education in the Indian market and are keen to set up partnerships in this country. The one major threat they realize to this is that Indian Institutions may not be able to keep up with their quality that they have long been famous for.

TASMAC acts as a Management Education Consultant to ensure that the quality and standards of higher education offered in India through partners of well-recognized International Universities. TASMAC does this by first directing and then continuously auditing the way in which the institution manages the overall quality and standards of the University’s provisions and by reviewing academic standards and the quality of teaching and learning in each subject area. As a part of ongoing quality assurance, TASMAC also provides training and development modules to the Indian Partner.

Objectives:

	To establish links between International Universities and centers of good standing within India and South Asia;
	To facilitate the development of mutually productive partnerships between these Universities and appropriate providers of education in India/South Asia;
	To provide an international quality guarantee service across all subject boundaries by drawing on TASMAC's pool of academic expertise and excellence;
	To provide training modules on Higher Education planning, teaching, learning and evaluation;
	To maximize recruitment of high caliber students for International University's partners in India.
